Meredith Graham

Board Chair

Meredith Graham is the Grants Officer at the Data Science and AI Academy. Her responsibilities include the administration of all awarded DSA grants and the seed grant program and support for proposal development and research partnerships.

Along with two collaborators, she received a Google Academic Research Award for a proposal entitled “A Curriculum on Responsible AI and Information Policy for Educators.” This award supports the development of a curriculum for educators and librarians with clear guidance and reliable training materials for understanding legal and policy issues in AI so they can critically engage with AI as a pedagogical tool.

Erick Crow

Board Member

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Erick Crow has lived in Florida for the past 20 years. Hailed for being an interdisciplinary performer and director, Mr. Crow’s credits include performances with Amy Grant, Andrea Bocelli, The Ocala Symphony, First Coast Opera, The Hilton Head Choral Society, Helena Choral Festival in Montana, The Jacksonville Symphony, Nova Southeastern Orchestra, and the Cherokee Historical Association in North Carolina. He has performed many leading roles both in Musical Theatre and Opera. Some of his titles include Monsieur Vogelsang in DerSchauspieldirektor, Marco in The Gondoliers, Major Ridge in Unto These Hills, Laurie in Little Women, Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutti and Freddie in Chess. His directing credits include: The Games Afoot, The Addams Family, The Importance of Being Ernest, Anything Goes, Hotel Paradiso, Little Women, War of the Worlds, and The Apple Tree.

Erick received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music Theatre from Jacksonville University, a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Florida, and his MBA in Digital Marketing from Messiah University.

Erick currently serves as the Director of Fine and Performing Arts at the Out-of-Door Academy in Sarasota, Florida.

Shehzad Niazi

Board Member

Shehzad Niazi is a Deputy Chief Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he has served in a variety of roles since 2010. Prior to joining the Commission, Shehzad worked for a major, international law firm advising clients on corporate, M&A, and securities law matters. He is a great appreciator and earnest supporter of the arts.

Rok Palcic

President

Active as a soloist, chamber musician, educator, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Rok Palcic uses his expertise and varied skillset to lead our organization. On top of holding the position of President at the Art Music Society, he is the CEO of Music School 21 and Chevy Chase Music as well as Artistic Director of the Cultural Arts Society Ars Haliaeti.
